I have successfully burned Jay and Silent Bob with AC3, but Goldmember and Monority Report have no sound when I choose DTS. I will go and re-rip with AC3 to see if DTS is a problem. Templar Feb 13, 2003, 01:28 AM IF you don't have a DTS decoder in you DVD player, or Receiver, you won't hear anything. Can you hear audio on your PC with Power DVD XP? It has DTS decoding capability. Real_iltfg Feb 13, 2003, 02:53 AM Does the PS2 have a DTS encoder? burp Feb 13, 2003, 04:50 AM when i rip a movie to harddrive and do a dvd2one and watch it on powerdvd Xp before burning after leaving just the 5:1 sound in the rip,i have to change my sound settings from SPDIF(cos thats for a cdrom) to 2 channel stereo. hope that helps Templar Feb 13, 2003, 10:19 AM Originally posted by Real_iltfg Does the PS2 have a DTS encoder? No. Anything that does, like my receiver for instance, will have the trademark DTS logo right on it. |
