I have been trying to download this file with windows update in win xp.....Everytime it downloads and then trys to install and gets to about cheacking disk space and says its connection is interupted. So i went to the windows site and it said jus buy a cd. I dont want to spend 10-15bucks for a cd.
Is there anywhere online where i can jus download all 30mb of this file and then install it without goin to windows update website?

No, but you can also find it included on many cover discs with PC mags.

not 100% sure mate but perhaps one is a full update and one an "express" update(critical updates only)

2K/XP service packs have a express install. You download a small installer prog (couple of Mb). This scans your pc & just downloads the updates that you need (it needs to be connected to the 'net while running). Estimated download size is 30Mb.
The 137Mb one is the 'network install'. It's designed for people who have to install it on a lot of pcs. It contains all the files needed.
Problem with the express install is that if you reinstall the o/s you need to redownload the sp. Get the network one & burn it to a cd. Or as already said a lot of mags have it on the covercd.
