i have a evo n160. the sreens is really beging to annoy me. i have a loose recharge unit. (when u figit about with the r/c/u/ its ok)i have tried to take the laptop apart to find out whats going on. the problem is the keyboard is stopping the laptop from comming apart can any help me please.:( :(

Compaq has a online reference library that has documentation on how to take apart all their laptops.

firstly a big thank you to QWERTY for his assistance. after printing out the .pdf service doc which was 157 pages (lol) . i found the fault. i got a knackered screen as the video cable is next to the dc power jack. once again a big thanks to qwerty.
