:tup: Yep it's great. No PC required. No FTP hassles. My Son and used this and made a customized version and now all we have to do is install the mod, swap the hard drive, boot with SlaYer's and make our selections from easy to use menu's, remove the CDRW (with SlaYer's on it) and reboot the XBox and that's it.
I feel this is the best thing sence the mod-chip.

hi m8 i heard about that cd somewere, sounds good can i ask does it have any apps on it? iam going to fit a mod chip during the week but dont have a network card on my pc so cant realy do any upgrades to the box.

ps were can i get the cd from?

There is over 400 messages talking about this.You can sift through it all if you want(lotta post not very helpfull tho), I havn't tried the software yet but would really like to as I don't have a easy to to hookup the box to the pc.I have been using the executer 2 lite(with the pre-flashed 4973 bios).Which has been fine for backups(so far), but would really like to get the evo-x dashboard and other goodies.

If you need Slayer's Installer you can download filetopia, install it, run it and search for Slayer's and download it.

dyan tracy... using filtopia I did a search on Slayer's and I found it as one file at 64mb. But if you want to use the 3 files you will have to use WinRAR or WinZip to combine all 3 files, then create an ISO from it and burn the ISO to a CDRW.

just one part of the file is 130 suttin megs and all 3 parts have the same files in it but the thing is i got the prog from badassa friend.. wich runs suttin in fitopia so i know its good.. but now im lost

L337 |-|axor...Yes you can install over the Evox you have already installed.
When you boot your XBox with the Slayer's you will have a menu of several options. But be very careful of the switching from NTSC to PALor the other way around, if you select PAL you will loose your video and its not easy to get it back.

dylan tracy... I don't know about the 130 suttin meg, but I do know the 64 mb file I downloaded does work. After I downloaded it I expanded it with WinRAR, created an ISO then burned it to a CDRW with Prassi and booted it in my XBox, made my selections, installed and rebooted my XBox without the CDRW and that was it.

I burned it with xiso on an office depot cd-rw...and it works great....

What are the chances of needing to restore from a backup c xbox drive. Because i have the Slayers Evox burnt to a dvdr and tested to see if it loads and it does, i was going to use the option to install evox but i read in the readme file that you should backup your hard drive, but if i haven't got a backup or a network card in my pc, what are the chances of me being left with an Error 21 screen, what could go wrong
