i use nero 5.5.10.7 and stomp recordnow max 4.5 with my pioneer 104 dvd-rw drive to burn dvd's for my 3 players (pioneer 343, panasonic portable and pc). if i burn an .img, .iso or .gi file, the disc will work with no problems on all of my players BUT if i try to create a data or dvd video file with nero or recordnow by dragging the 'audio_ts/video_ts' folders over the burn will either fail or will only work in the pc dvd player.

what are the best settings to use w/nero & recordnow to get maximum compatiblity?

in record max now,,in the options,i used
udf-128 or udf and joliet 106
tao closed,,

both worked for me,x-box i think only likes udf-128,,
i dont bother with nero anymore,,their udf is crap,,,,

Explain were these options are please as i have opened options in stomp..cannot see anything about udf-128 or other things thanks

when you start new data job.the screen that appears,just above
where you insert your AUDIO_TS and VIDEO folders,,there a little
tab called otpions,,think the one beside it is called insert files and folders,,,

open stomp, select data disc then either drag and drop or add files and folders.
then click the options button across to the right of the add files and folders button, on the pop up screen look on the left to the middle and it will say dvd, and you can choose recording type and file system type.
choose file system type udf - upto 128 in filename length 8+3 tree (bridge)

then it will work in xbox and all dvd players
