ok i have a few ideas id like to get some feedback on. I dont have my xbox hooked up to my pc because i dont have a router. I dont have a dvd burner.
storing games on cdr:
take an already burned copy of a xbox game and put it in your pc dvdrom.
copy all the contents of the dvd into a folder just for that game.
get as close to 700mbs as you can and move all of it into its own folder.
with whats left, try to get another 700 mbs and move all of it, to its own folder.
keep doing this until you have the complete game on a few cdrs.
now when you want to play the game. make a folder on the xbox hd for the game. copy the 1st cdr to cdrw and copy the whole disc into the new folder. then do this for the 2nd disc...... until the whole game is there.
NOW MY QUESTIONS:
what if anything would go wrong with this?
would it be worth my wild to zip or rar the files or will it not make enough of a difference to even save a cdr.
obviously im not going to do this for a hugh game like halo or ect. but the games at or a little over 1gb this would be effective, if it works. so please any feedback is welcomed :)
