Ok I'm a bit new to this and having some trouble..

I used the following guide to change one of my DivX files to DVD...

and then used the following guide to burn it:
http://www.dvdrhelp.com/instantdvd.htm

But when I played the file back the video was moving too fast.. I've tried going through the guide very thoroughly to make sure I didn't miss anything and I tried with 2 different movies but both times I got the same result.. Is there a problem with the guide I am using or does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? I'd really appreciate any help..
