i got the fireware upgrade for my pioneer 104 tomake it firemware 1.31 and burn disk's at 2x . it was running for about a 15 min then i got a error...said

"error occured at step 2
Failed to update the normal part
Failed to execute Inquiry Command
Update program is terminated by occuring an error"

then it stops

and my dvdrw is not recoginized.. i have to reinstall the dvdrw for it to work again....any help???

Try downgrading mate, if that dont work, then u may have messed up ur writer.

hey guys i flashed it to 1.40 because it wouldent go to 1.31...then used the downgrade to 1.31 and it flashed...then i tried burning at 2x and it went at 1x speeds still taking 56 min
