I have a pioneer Ao4 and a dvd rom drive. Tried to burn on the fly but i think they are on the same connection point (whatever the proper term is please point out the error of my ways).

Can i seperate and then burn on the fly.

Any help gratefully received.

There's not alot to be gained through burning on the fly, although moving the DVDROM or Burner to a different IDE channel will improve your PCs ability to read and write at the same time.
