Anyone know if there are plans to release C&C or AOE versions on the xbox?

I hope so, I thought Age OF Empires would with it being M$'s game.
But I havn't seen any mention of it anywhere.

Just read that Battlefield 1942 has been cancelled for the XBox too!

remembering back to the good old days, playing sim city on the snes seemed far harder than doing it on a mac with a mouse (never had a pc, probably never will). without a mouse for the xbox, AOE and C&C may be awkward without some really great new way of interfacing. I believe this was the reason behind cancelling Battlefield 1942. Those with a mouse would rule the online gaming.

good point, well then I suppose I've got to ask.... Are there plans for a kb & mouse? I read somewhere that it's not possible to use the usb interface for anything else but xbox controllers.

I hope they don't bring those games to the xbox.

Thats the reason why i got rid of my ps2 and bought an xbox for the arcade feeling you get, which you also got from the Dreamcast.

If you want rpg/strategy style games buy a ps2 or the pc games...

That's great advice. With that logic we should all be content with the same genre of games. Unfortunatly this narrow mindedness looks to be prevailing within xbox development.

If anyone is looking for an extremley good strategy game - empire earth (p.c. only)

bring back mega-lo-mania !!! a classic in the good old days of the amiga. Pretty sure it was out on the genesis/megadrive too. Just goes to show strategy games, although somewhat limited back then were playable with a joypad.
