Hi m8s,

I am a wicked noob to networking so I was wondering if someone could help me. I have my xbox networked to my FTP via a hub. Now my problem is when I transfer from my Xbox to my PC i am only transfering at around 30 kbps. i read posts saying that u can get upwards of 5000kbps... and I wanna do those speeds to. My question is how? Now before you flame me, I have done a search and its turned up nothing really. I know that when I go into EvoX my line status is set to 10 half duplex... and I have taken measures to change this like going into my nics settings and switching it to full duplex. However this causes me to loose my connections all together, even not allowing me to connect to the internet till I unplug the modem. Now I know that my nic is capable of these speeds as this comp is barely a year old. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

Any help would be much appreciated.

if u have xp u go here> start>controlpanel>network connections>click on properties>click on internet protocol(tcp/ip) then click on config>then click on the advance tab>then pick what your card can handle in the drop down menu. exp... 10BaseT or 100BaseT

Hi thanks for your help

However, when I got into internet connections, and do poperties, there is no place for me to change me tcp/ip settings. Anyone have any ideas how to change this? Again, i have already tried to change my card settings from half to full duplex buy using the network connection properties and all it does is stop giving me access to the net.
