I got a matrix chip and got a huge problem. I have been trying to get the trying for 3 hours to get the chip to flash green. This is what happens.I get the thing on green, but then turn off my xbox and then turn it on and it is red again. It is on test mode. I already flashed it. Another problem I'm having on test mode (mode 1)it never flashes green. When I put it to mode 2 or 3 and I align the chip it is green. But in order for it to work it has to be green on test mode as well. Please help people. BTW it is a v1.1. For any advice please email me mbrulez1@aol.com, or post here.

hook up the chip to your computer. reflash the chip (make sure you use a NEW battery) then verify the data on the chip (using WinLPC from Xodus)...after that, set it to test mode, and get it aligned...don't try aligning in a different mode...not good for anything, possibly ruin the chip/xbox I've heard...

did what you said, I cant get a green flash. The funny thing is I did like 10 v1 mods with the matrix, with the v1.1 it is much harder. So anything else?

Ya, V1.1 give false readings on the physical chip. Easiest way is to flash the chip with a COLORED bios, and switch to mode 1 (1 on 1 off - I forgot which) and test to make sure it reboots correctly before closing it up.
That's the easiest way to ensure it's booting correctly by using the colored logo as a test instead of the Green Light on the mod.
