View Full Version : Which burner dvd + and - or just dvd-?

I was wondering if its worth the 350 dollars to get a sony dvd + and - burner or if I should just stick to the dvd - burner I really would like some responses to see if its worth the extra money if you guys could help any thanks!!

This is for ps2 games and movies. mostly ps2 games!

You should have no trouble making backups on DVD-R media and with the Cendyne105 (Pioneer105) going for $189.94 (or less if you can get a coupon code to work) I don't think it will kill you not to have the DVD+R feature. Both drives are awesome but for what you are looking at DVD-R will be just fine (Use Ritek silvertop media, Verbatim or Fujifilm). try www.allmediaoutlet.com for current deals on Ritek discs (Yes they are in stock here). Ya, I only have a 104, and it works great for all my PS2/XBox and DVD movies.
