I`ve got a V.7 PS2 & using Magic 2 discs. Works great except cannot load Harry Potter 2 , probably because the disc is larger than 630 mb.
If I burn to DVD-R and use the DVD disc will the ps2 recognise the game ?

Any hints appreciated but dont suggest getting a Solder chip as I am useless at soldering.

Did you EA patch this one yet? I know that this one needs a EA patch, had the same problem, but patched it and now it works great.

MAgic 2 doesn't need games to be ea patched

I believe he was stating that he had the swap discs as he emailed me about the patcher.
