i have a v4 no gap console and a magic3.1 chip. there is a diagram of the install here:http://www.the-console-corner.com/magic_iii_v4_nogap.gif
but the point for "s" runs between two possible points. is that a flaw in the diagram? am i supposed to solder it to the black point or the tan point? or am i supposed to make a "bridge" there, and solder the two points together with the wire in between?
has anybody done this before, and would you mind letting me know exactly what i'm supposed to do for this point.
thanks all, i really appreciate it.

If you have a gap between those two points, maybe you are running the GAP motherboard. Here's a closer look at the same picture that you posted here. (Warning, this is a BIG picture.)

If your motherboard HAS a gap between those two little guys, then I'd bet you're running the GAP motherboard. Here's a link to a super-sized picture of a motherboard WITH the gap.

That pic shows the board without those two points bridged. So, I'm guessing that if yours aren't bridged now, you don't want to be the one to bridge them. ;-) Hopefully that'll help. lol Sorry, if that didn't make sense. It's time to go to freaking bed.
