Not sure whether this is just me but I can't access ********** through either of my ISPs.

The reason why I think it might just be my ISP is coz I can't access cdcovers.cc thru clara but I can if I log on with AOL.

getting 'gateway timeout' on bst and 'bad gateway on cdcovers.

if you start looking around at other sites they either are taken down or they was pulled down for now to see what it is up. remember the thing that took down isonews was the mod chip. And alot of sites either sell them or have someone on the board selling them. Also ask your self why these 2 sites split off. to much flack for owner maybe i do not know.
but i do not blame owner for doing it if it was that reason.

Well, the DoJ busted ISONEWS and it seems that everyone else ran for cover afterwards (who can blame them?) pulling their sites down. It is the end of an era my friends.

So is there a connection between Isonews.com having their DNS reposessed, and **********.com terminating its service?

Is there any details as to why **********.com is not working? Have they had their DNS taken away (.com is american so the fbi/law enforcement could have it)...and if this is the case can we have ip to access it please (i.e. http://123.123.123.123).

Why was there no prior message of this, and how come good old rom guide is still working fine, and there is no mention of ********** shutting down on it?

dam americans! always looking to create more trouble! Maybe hoss should consider transfering it all to us in the UK, or someone in a country without proper copyright enfourcement (i.e. russia)... a .com domain doesn't seem to smart after the reposession of isonews.com

First lets look why he got his domain taken away. He was selling mod chips. It was nothing to do with the iso part. the iso part just made him a huge target to get out of the way.

If he wasnt selling modchips would the site still be there? probably yes, because there is nothing they could do to him. free speech and all.

It will be back different name, different location but with the same info just minus the modchips. Its just basically a warning to all the domain owners "we are watching you, and one slip up and we will get you".

I dont blame hoss if he took bst down, "we are the self preservation society" looking after number one good idea. if its just coincedence at least it made us think! I am not based US side so i dont know what hoss could get done for because he has a website where people can exchange certain items, its basically freedom of sppech (i think) plus if you are going to get hoss for allowing people to "trade" why dont they sue the makers of the board, the people that made php etc etc.

anyway a days trade just think it as a day off ;)

I'm sure hoss and the rest of the adim/mods will let us know when bst is up & running then we can all get back to what we are good at.
