i just purchased a sd220e which is multiregion and have set it to auto in setup(pal/auto) yet if i put a region 1 disk in,it won't play get as it dosen't recognise it,am i doing something wrong or do i need to do something,i shouldn't need to use a remote hack if its multiregion should i?

Nope I got one of these multiregion straight out of the box and it plays everything I throw at it...including RCE Region 1 discs

Think you need to be getting on the phone to the peeps that sold you it
