im encoding a divx files useing tempgen and its gona take 7 hours?

is there anythink that does it quicker??

it is so slooooow,

its been decoding for 6 hours 34 min, ans still has 2 hours 34 to go ????

its gona be 9 hours in totle decoding time ?

If you are using CCE then you are going to need to resize, etc. with AVISynth, that is unless your file is full DVD res.

CCE should accept a DivX AVI just fine though.. although you never did say if you had an AVI or not.

hit CTRL+ALT+DEL when you start encoding, then find tmpgenc in the processes menu, then right click on it and scroll down to the priority setting and choose realtime!!!!* if you have a half decent CPU it should knock off at least an hour to two hours off the final time depending on CPU and what other background processes you have running.

*as soon as you choose the realtime option it will slow your system down dramatically so I suggest closing all other programs you don't need BEFORE changing the tmpgenc priority ok :')
