Can anyone help as i am a lot lost with what i am doing wrong ?
I have a 105 and am useing bulkpaq gen 4 2x speed discs.
I have got some dvdr screeners ie chicago & 8 mile and i am trying to make a copy of them.
I am useing the late's nero software as burning a dvd copy from a image not on the fly, set time on nero to 120 over burn, but everything goes fine and nero says that the burn was a success, but when i play back on a pc ( power dvd) or a standalone (multi) i only have around 3/4 of each film.
i have tried this about eight times now with nearly always the same result in that i can not get a complete film burnt to a single disc,
Can anyone tell me where i am going wrong, or give me a guide to follow as i am very new to all this dvd stuff

Thanks inadvance

I've never had to change any time settings on Nero for burning DVDr. Not sure what you mean by that.

Off the top of my head I can think of 2 possible problems :

1. The media - Bulkpaq doesn't have the best reputation.
2. Do you have a FAT32 file system? If so there is a 4gb file size limit. Try copying the contents of the DVDr to a folder on your hard disk. That way you will have a collection of .VOB and .IFO files which will be only 1gb max each. You can then play them in PowerDVD to check if the full film is there. Finally burn to DVDr using Nero but use DVD ( ISO/UDF ) option NOT DVD-Video.

Hope this helps.

I agree that most people here would not recommend bulqpaq discs, you should definitely switch to a different media. Yes if you have a FAT32 file system files are either cut off or split at 4gb. If you have FAT32 definitely convert your harddrive to NTFS as it will remove the 4gb limit.

The 4gb limit does not apply lol, everyone knows that dvds have vob files that are only 1gb each so there is no 1 single file bigger than 4gb, also, the newer Bulkpaq are the same as the yellowtops and I dont hear anyone complaining about them.
