trying to put some vcds on to dvd-r using spruceup but not having much luck as keep getting invalid sample rate when trying to load the sound

i am using spruceup and tmpgenc

i demultiplex my film using tmpgenc and then try and load into spruce the movie loads fine but however when tyring to load the sound i keep getting a sample rate error . so its a no go.

was wondering if anyone could advise me a correct way to make a multi dvd-r with this program

or even a better way then this.

thanks

vcd audio is sampled at 44KHz

for DVD is 48Khz

load the audio track into tmpeg etc and alter to 48khz Spruce up should have no prob with it then

if the discs are for personal use and your player can handle
the format then you're then good to go

However worth noting that although CIF Mpeg-1 system streams are part of the DVD spec a lot of players will not support it and you can get all sorts of weird results

(that can even be on players where VCD playback of the same bl**ddy footage is perfect, as it tends to be a firmware issue ie not covering all the permutations of DVD spec when the firmware was written for the player).

stuwh0,

have tried as you say and now get

"Error in the system header - information in its component elementary streams may be corrupted"

any ideas where to go now ? or to try something else?
