when i used the IFO edit guide, and ran rempeg2 i got a file that didn't have an extention, i've burned about 10 movies with this guide and i havent had this problem. the file is the right size but when i go into ifoedit and try to author a new DVD, it says "too many frame drops!" and then closes down. i've tried droping the subtitles and chapters, but it still doesn't work the only thing that will work is if i use the m2v file that i got from smart ripper, but then the file is still too big to fit on one disk! Please Help!

Just rename the file and place the .m2v extension on the end, or when ReMpeg asks for the destination file make sure you write .m2v on the end.

In IFOEdit are you creating a movie only dvd, or do you need to remux the .m2v file into the vobset? Remember ReMpeg only transcodes the video.
