Formatted hard drive - Reinstalled XP Pro.

i put in a DVD in one of my DVD-Roms, and it starts up but doesnt play any video, just a black screen with sound. I rip it to my HDD and I can watch it perfectly. I put it on a DVD-R and I can watch it perfectly. I unno what I did.
I'm using WinDVD, which is getting the best results. And I installed a couple things that may have affected it. My first guess would be Adaptec ASPI Layer 4.71.2. But thats never caused conflicts before. My other guess would be WMP9 or whatevers the newest. Well actualoly I guess my first guess is theres an option somewhere that I'm missing.

And when I exit out of WinDVD, the screen flashes the picture its suppose to be.

And this occurrs on both my Toshiba DVD-Rom and Pioneer DVR-105.

Also in Smartripper, (both drives) It says Adaptec ASPI available, then No ASPI for this drive. I dont think it said that before. And when I ripped it, it said De-----, instead of ASPI, I know it used ASPI before.

you might need to install the latest Video drivers for your video card.
