Spursman Feb 28, 2003, 06:24 AM I am using outlook and i have got 2 e-mail addds. a freeserve one & and NTL one.
Why when it checks mail does it keep asking me for my username & password for my freeserve accounts. when i put it in and click ok it just come back again & again. i know i am putting the right info in there put it keeps coming back.
anyone know why??
UAPyro Feb 28, 2003, 07:11 AM do you have the checkbox for "remember password" checked? if so and this is obvious, sorry to make it seem as if i think you are a newb, but even i, in my 12 years experience with comptuers, will overlook the obvious things occasionally
gooner Feb 28, 2003, 08:22 AM Because your a Yid!!!!!
As UAPyro says make sure the remember password is set, otherwise go into the account properties of the freeserve account and put you password in there and it should automatically login and synchronize
green_blade Feb 28, 2003, 08:29 AM Ah revenge is sweet gooner !!!
gooner Feb 28, 2003, 08:37 AM you saw his post on my thread then!!! I knew I would have my chance.
Sorry to jump your thread Spursman but Green_blade have you any literature in .doc .pdf on Exchange Admin? and is it Outlook that is the client for Exchange? I would assume so being Microsoft as I cannot see them bring out a dedicated client for it when they have had outlook all these years
green_blade Feb 28, 2003, 08:49 AM Haven't had to dabble with Exchange yet and we haven't got the books here. I've got a couple of CDs at home with microsoft manuals, I'll have a look tonight and mail you.
Glad I took the 6/5 by the way !
Spursman, the post is all yours !!

Spursman Feb 28, 2003, 11:48 AM Yeah i have done that, i retyped the password to, nothing seems to work.
gooner Feb 28, 2003, 11:50 AM I cant see why it wont have it then.......I havent got outlook on this PC at the mo (got burgled last weekedn and it was on there) will have a look in work tomorrow
Spursman Feb 28, 2003, 11:57 AM Ok mate cheers. i will post here if it sorts itself out, there could be something wrong with the freeserve servers or something.
gooner Feb 28, 2003, 12:10 PM I was thinking that considering it is fine with NTL

LMAO
Go to your accounts then for each account go to mail then go to the properties of each one and under servers tere should be an option to remember your password.
Or you could set up another identity in outlook and use each one for the seperate accounts.
2 gooners helping you out now but its good to help those less fortunate than are selves init :D

LMAO as well ...he done it to me uk_trader HERE (http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=237061)
Anyway in reply to what you said trader I said that to him and that wont work, I think he should do as you also suggested and either recreate it or give it another identity and use the same settings as thos in the NTL account (Except for the pop and smtp addys)
Spursman Feb 28, 2003, 04:08 PM thanks for your help. i have looked into it, the best way is to do it all again.
But thanks for your help, we aint less fortunate then you, so dont go there.
Yid Army!!!!!!!!!!!
