Hey.

I'm looking for a standalone DVD player for around £100 that plays pretty much everything, is multi region and has a 5.1 decoder.

I've been looking at the aria 2255 (about £80) and the yamada 2100 (about £75).
These both play almost every format, are multi region and have a 5.1 decoder. Im a bit put off the yamada because reviews have said the 5.1 decoder is crappy and theres lots of pops and hisses, so at the moment the aria 2255 is looking good. Does anyone have this DVD player? Is it any good?
Also can anyone suggest any other good ones for around this price.

Thanks a lot.

Toshiba 220 multi region. You can get it cheap in Richer Sounds (£100 approx).

I read up on which dvd player to get b4 i purchased and this got a really good write up. Also 2 friends got it on my recommendation and they're happy with it.

Yeah i read some reviews on that toshiba. But there seems to be some real bad synching issues when viewing SVCDs with that model. Also does it have a 5.1 decoder?
