im reffering to the datasafe yellow tops and these one

'Bulkpaq GEN 3 (r2) DVD-R Pack of 50
New disc with the same dye as the Datasafe Yellow '

the bulpaq are known to be inferior disks, but if they have the same dye as yellow tops, does that basically make them the same type of disc?

i find yellow tops fine on my writer and to burn xbox/movies

I have used both discs and yes the dye is identical, the only difference is that the datawrite is manufactured better so less coasters, that is why Bulkpaq are 10-15p cheaper.

I've used both and have stuck with the Bulkpaq's as I've found no difference in either disc and the price is cheaper.

Think the older release of Bulkpaq gave them a bad name because so far the new gen3r2 are great for films and ps2 games.

All movies so far m8, just finished a copy of Young Guns as we speak and the playback quality is perfect, the downside is of course the 1X burn speed.
