According to cnet.com, SpyBot's Search and Destroy 1.1 is way better than Adaware's new 6.0 version. Both are free but SpyBot apparently offers a lot more. If you pony up 40 bucks you can get some of those features with a proffesional version of Adaware's 6.0.

Anyone have any experience with Spyblocker 4.75 or higher?

Basically I'm annoyed with pop ups, spyware, and rediculous script probs.

Would like to hear your opinions.

I would go with CNET's opinion on this.

I've ran SpyBot Search & Destroy since it started and am also a Beta tester of the new V1.2 (Which will be fantastic when the final version is launched btw!)

AdAware 6 Pro is not worth spending a penny of your money on IMHO, anybody that still thinks AdAware is any cop simply just has not tried SpyBot. I've heard good things about Spyblocker but not tried it out.

Installed Ad-aware 6.0 last night and it found 1 registry and 30 other items. Installed the new version of Spybot tonight and it found 1 item and 14 registry problems including 6 Microsoft security loopholes. Interesting as I also had a Microsoft Security update last night !!
