3knucklehead3 Mar 14, 2003, 02:02 PM Anyone know of a good place to buy DVD-R media? Silvers are OK as they work fine in my units. Looking for spool of 50 to 100. Thanks! DropKick Mar 14, 2003, 02:04 PM I get most of my stuff from SVP (www.blankdiskshop.com) jesterrace777 Mar 14, 2003, 03:50 PM Where are you located (US or UK?) as that makes a big difference. In the US try www.allmediaoutlet.com for sweet deals on Ritek DVD-R. You can pick up the 1x/2x discs for $1.40 a disc with free UPS ground shipping in a 25 pack and getting cheaper per disc as you order more. If you can do 4x burns and would like 4x discs then they also carry 4x Ritek DVD-R discs for $2.08 a disc with free UPS ground shipping in a 25 pack. If you are ordering in a pack of 50 or more then you can get them for $1.82 a disc or less with Free ups ground shipping. This is definitely the best deal I have found on 4x media as it comes just as highly recommended as the 1x/2x discs. I hope this helps celtic_druid Mar 15, 2003, 01:15 AM Moving this to CoOp. I think that I also almost got some from allmediaoutlet.com but I went to pricewatch to search for lower prices & found some & when I ordered, it took my cookie from allmediaoutlet, so i guess they have more than one site & one had free shipping & the other not. Weird. lordofthedeals Mar 17, 2003, 08:29 AM DVD media available from www.lordofthedeals.co.uk DARRENNO5 Mar 24, 2003, 06:34 PM BEST BET IS SVP (BLANKDISCSHOP) NEVER EVER HAD ANY PROBS WITH THESE 100% RELIABLE AND FAIR IF THINGS GO WRONG WITH A BATCH OF DISCS`S ECT ECT b17bomber Jun 21, 2003, 01:37 AM i would stay away from allmediaoutlet. i have been trying to get them to respond to several emails about 2x dvdrs that were supposed to work at 2x on my a03 and 2 weeks later they responded with the following: Dear Customer: Please gave the order number or billing zip code to us, we could not help you without any information of your order. Thanks for your patience. jerry what the hell does is that mean? i sent them all the info with the previous email that they are asking for. first and last time using these guys. in u.s. try rima.com and meritline.com. i think that the meritline brand are actually riteks. i ordered some to try them out. penalozies Jun 25, 2003, 04:46 AM In the USA, http://www.precisioncddvd.com. Excellent service, fast shipping, and great prices. They have been great so far. jesterrace777 Jun 25, 2003, 02:31 PM Thanks for the link. Prices aren't bad but I can get them for a little bit cheaper from rima. duffy90210 Jun 26, 2003, 06:24 PM lordofthedeals, your prices look very reasonable, so I pass your site to one of our customer, hope he will like your prices and order, he used bigpockets before and had some very unpleasent experience, hope your company can do better as we had a lot of grief from him after we recommended BP. Good luck Mr Snatcher Jun 27, 2003, 12:24 PM Originally posted by b17bomber i would stay away from allmediaoutlet. i have been trying to get them to respond to several emails about 2x dvdrs that were supposed to work at 2x on my a03 and 2 weeks later they responded with the following: Dear Customer: Please gave the order number or billing zip code to us, we could not help you without any information of your order. I believe meritline and allmediaoutlet are same company, as well as , cdrdvdrmedia grimreaper2003 Jun 27, 2003, 10:12 PM I always use www.wcwmedia.co.uk I've not seen anywhere cheaper - deals in bulk too. - works out especially good for me as I'm near enough to collect - BRISTOL based. mike200sx Jun 30, 2003, 10:34 AM The best as far as Im concerned is www.microsuperstore.com You should try the Burn Star 'verbatim' dye DVD-R. They are awesome discs. Same ADVDinfo and dye as verbs but only 0.79  But they have sold out. I knew I should have bought more than 100 barchomee Jun 30, 2003, 06:14 PM Hello Guys, help out a fella from Australia. Which would be the best place to get DVD-r if you're not from the UK or US. Its just for general data/backup usage. duffy90210 Jul 01, 2003, 05:02 AM Just to report back, my customer called this morning, said he placed the order on Friday with lordofthedeals.co.uk and received it yesterday, hes very happy with the price and delivery cost. Not here to advertise for any company, but I think companies deserve credits when credits is due. Duffy |
