Where are you located (US or UK?) as that makes a big difference. In the US try www.allmediaoutlet.com for sweet deals on Ritek DVD-R. You can pick up the 1x/2x discs for $1.40 a disc with free UPS ground shipping in a 25 pack and getting cheaper per disc as you order more. If you can do 4x burns and would like 4x discs then they also carry 4x Ritek DVD-R discs for $2.08 a disc with free UPS ground shipping in a 25 pack. If you are ordering in a pack of 50 or more then you can get them for $1.82 a disc or less with Free ups ground shipping. This is definitely the best deal I have found on 4x media as it comes just as highly recommended as the 1x/2x discs. I hope this helps

I think I found what I want at meritline.com 3knucklehead3, but you didn't give us what dvd drive you are using & where you are, these are important info.

I think that I also almost got some from allmediaoutlet.com but I went to pricewatch to search for lower prices & found some & when I ordered, it took my cookie from allmediaoutlet, so i guess they have more than one site & one had free shipping & the other not. Weird.

i would stay away from allmediaoutlet. i have been trying to get them to respond to several emails about 2x dvdrs that were supposed to work at 2x on my a03 and 2 weeks later they responded with the following:

Dear Customer:
Please gave the order number or billing zip code to us, we could not help
you without any information of your order.

what the hell does is that mean? i sent them all the info with the previous email that they are asking for. first and last time using these guys. in u.s. try rima.com and meritline.com. i think that the meritline brand are actually riteks. i ordered some to try them out.

You should try the Burn Star 'verbatim' dye DVD-R. They are awesome discs. Same ADVDinfo and dye as verbs but only 0.79 :eek:

help out a fella from Australia. Which would be the best place to get DVD-r if you're not from the UK or US. Its just for general data/backup usage.

Just to report back, my customer called this morning, said he placed the order on Friday with lordofthedeals.co.uk and received it yesterday, hes very happy with the price and delivery cost.
