i'm unsure what chip is in my ps2 as i bought it chipped.(and cant contact the person i bought it off).
i can use cd back ups ok but i've just started trying dvd's without success.the game is alright as it loads into my mates ps2 with a messiah no probs.
do all mod chips play dvd backups?

is it just a mater of booting up a different way?

how do i find out what chip is in my ps2 , it boots up with region x dvd and a memory card type device if that helps any?:confused:

i think that would be neo 2.2 chip.,.........
it couldnt be messiah, origa or some other chip......try using AR2 to boot up the DVD games :) and do double swap trick

You might want to open it up and take a look.

Rip it out mate and get a Messiah installed ;)
