My ps2 has devolped a slight squeak noise when the laser moves along the bar.Why is it making a squeak and how do i fix cos it dosent affect the loading or games or anything its just annoying :(

it could be the actual laser some ps2s do that for a while like mine. then it stops after i used a laser/lens cleaner. if its your laser which it prob isnt then i dunno. but the laser dus make a very quiet squeeking sound when it s struggling.
