I was just wondering if my Hitachi DVD-ROM GD-5000 isn't able to record or burn CD-R, since I bought ten of them and I cannot record on them on my recording program because it says I "Have no disk". Please help me, and also, how do I just delete a music file on another CD-R without deleting them all (I use WIN 98)?

You need a CDRW drive to record to CD-R's. A DVD-Rom is only capable of reading them.
