If I copy a backup on dvd-r using stomp record now it will not play in my stand alone dvd player but it will play on my xbox.

If I copy the same backup on dvd-r using nero it will play on my stand alone dvd player and not my x box. weird

So would I be right in saying that not only do you need to know what media your stand alone dvd player likes (dvd-r and dvd+r) but you also need to know what burning software it like also. Is there a software that can burn to suit all stand alone players?
