I have a Mustek 520 (1 year old) that plays most formats but I don't appear to be able to view Pic's on it (Jpeg's)
The thing is, my mate has a brand new Mustek 520 that can view pic's ok.
Can I assume that it's just a case of the later models having this facility or is there something wrong with my DVD

Nothing wrong with yours mate. The new ones state on the box that you can view jpeg. I think it must be a hardware thing as I've not been able to find anything that can make the older models do it.
