In IE I am getting a lot of those errors about how IE need to shut down and I cannot go to certain pages for this, and also, I cannot download anything in IE, so I cannot get Mozilla or upgrade IE (I belive I have IE5, it is whatever comes with Win2k).
Please LMK if there is a way to fix this or if there is anything I can do. I am very annoyed with this.
Thanks

Yeah, it's hard to do the fix or update when you can't download.

Try to reinstall the OS on top of the existing one to repair IE.

Hi there,

You could always try using a download manager if you can't download with Internet Explorer. If you don't have one you could have someone send you one through messenger or email or something.

At this page here

you can download the full versions of Internet Explorer.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 - (63.6MB)
The full installer, with the browser, multimedia components, communication components and Outlook Express.

Well, I believe I fixed it, it was just a practical, simple, clever (IMO, hehe) method. I got someone from IRC to DCC send me Mozilla, then in Mozilla, I got IE6. Pretty good huh?

Nope! :D

I always download the IE setup files for each version (when it's available) from MS Website then burn them to my archived software CD just in case.

You can re-install Windows which in most cases will fix problems on IE.

Or run IE setup from your MS Office CD.
