I just bought a Mintek 5830 and it plays regular DVD's fine. If I play back a DVD-R (any) it will skip ( it plays the sequence twice) and then it moves on as if nothing happend. Then out of the blue, it does it again. It seems to do it when changing chapters. Is this Skipping? Anyone seen this or have any suggestions? Thanks....:round:

It doesn't like the media much, try changing brands of disks.

What brand do you recommend? I am using generic from yesbuy.net. The Mintek 5830 is the only player I have (out of 4) that is skipping using these dvd-r's. Thanks
