How do I get say multi avi, dvix, mpeg etc.. to play on a DVD-R in a standalone player, with title secections for each clip?

The first step is to do a search of the forum to see if anyone else has asked the same question. Then if you can't find the answer you ask for help.

Most DVD players can not play AVI's and those that can (KiSS DP-450) only certain AVI's. Also when you say DivX do you mean DivX MP4 or OGM, you obviously don't mean AVI because you already mentioned that.

The Kiss player will I believe play DivX MP4's.

Basically I mean any type of media file, to convert it to play on any standalone player, so we are talking about converting them to vob.

You never said convert. As said if you search you will find this (converting) covered many times over.
