please can anyone help me.:confused:

Just purchsaed a Teac x4 DVD Writer (Teac DV-50E) but it came without a driver for it. I am unable to find a driver for it.
In the description it states the writer is a Pioneer 105 with a TEAC badge on it. would a pioneer 105 driver run it.

You dont need a driver for it to operate m8, it will be recognised straight through the O/S and that ever writing packages you use.

You will only need a driver if you want to run it under DOS. For windows it does not require one.

The only writing software to recognise it at the moment is Nero ! Prassi,recordnow,DVD2one and instantcopy don't ,as far I know

The trial version is available form Ahead.com but the full version you have to pay for OEM or download it from a site thats not mentionable here,if you know what I mean

sorry celtic, just trying to purchase the software to go with my dvd rewriter.

Try getting the PXengine update, this will make PRASSI find the burner
