I have been looking on bigpockets.co.uk and would just like advice into what media to get. I'm not too bothered about getting the 4x at the mo i just want some good old very compatable and error free ones. Been looking at these 2

Datasafe Yellow Top Branded Gen 3 Classic
General Purpose DVD-R 4.7gb

Excellent Compatablility with DVD Players.
Now Down in price £33.99

or are there some others i should go for ??

please help

using datawrite classic yellows myself at the mo with my 105
and 1.21 firmware
only 1X but not to bothered about time myself gone through about
50 of them and not a coaster yet

using dvd decrypter
dvd2one and prassi primo 2.0
also using nero for 1:1 copying

before that used fws 4X used 25 of them no probs but a bit expensive
at £1.60 a disc

paying 75p for my datawrites that will do me nicely

I use bigpockets ,SVP and WCW for my media ,whoever has the stock at the right prices ,as long as they don't use interlink express I'm sorted. Princo or ritek 4X,datasafe or verbs 2X and 1x I don't

Traxdata and Ritek (both use the same dye on the bottom of the disc) are both recommended by a good number of UK users.

I have also heard about probs with bigpockets so I would go with SVP. Ritek 3rd Gen and OptoDisc get my vote. I wouldn't touch the firmware until you find out if you've got probs - if it ain't broke, don't fix it. ;)
