bit of a problem, downloaded divx films, chicago for one and i just cant seem to get them to play on my pc, i know they do play as i can ftp over to my xbox and play great. tried nostra divx, windows media says error loading codec, no matter what the player i always get audio, just no bloody picture!!any ideas?

Get the divx3.11 codec from the divx www site. If that doesn't work try the 5.03 free version also on that site.

Get the Nimo Codec Pack (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/nimo_pack.html). It has all the DivX codecs, plus some others.

I would 100% definatly not recommend installing Nimo or any other codec pack. Use GSpot or similar to see what codec the file uses and then just download and install that.

whats wrong with installing a codec pack?
