can anyone help me with this problem please..

On both 2000 and XP operating systems (after updating installer) i get this error when going to setup icon..

'the installation package cannot be opened.
contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package.'

the total disc size i think is 250mb, is this right??
