does the latest version of Nero cure the compatability issue with certain standalones ??

I checked the site and didn't see any mention of it.

Also could anyone suggest alternative software for burning titles sets, excluding primo/recordnow.

DVD2ONE. If you are willing to wait for a bit CloneDVD is due out sometime next month and it will be a great all in one program.

Yes, the people at Nero say they have sorted the problem out.

But if you ask me there never was a problem.
