dckicks Mar 30, 2003, 02:26 PM hi ,ive got championship manager 4 on disk which is a copy ,its all installed ok but when i go to run it i click on cm4 and then a meesedge comes up wrong disk inserted is there a patch i can use to over ride it or some thing could u let me know thanks .:beer: dckicks Mar 30, 2003, 04:12 PM it just says wrong disk inserted when i click cm4 ,it all installed ok any ideas ,thanks Spursman Mar 30, 2003, 05:49 PM On the cd there should be 2 things u can install. the icon is a little box. try that then try again. P J Mar 30, 2003, 05:49 PM you may need to load the no cd patch into where you installed champ manager dckicks Mar 31, 2003, 06:26 AM ive downloaded the cm4 no patch into the cm4 file and a file comes up with the cm4 logo in it but when i click the icon its still saying wrong cd ,any ideas do u think ive got to delete a file for it to work ,thanks richbambam Apr 01, 2003, 10:11 AM when youve copied the crack over the original exe file I usuall y create a shortcut to the crack on my desktop,& then click on the shortcut to start the game,I got cm4 & worked for me philli Apr 01, 2003, 11:54 AM Ok i no the champ manager queries are gettin tedious but i need someone to clear mine up for me once and for all. I have a copied version of champ manager 4. Its all installed but when i hit the shortcut it says wrond cd installed. I downloaded two patches i found on gamecopyworld and tried putting each one in the CM4 file and loading it. Now the screen just loads black and nothing else. Please help. If poss, what exactly do i need to do, where from (eg correct patches) and how? Liam :tup: celtic_druid Apr 01, 2003, 12:00 PM Sounds like maybe the patch is working fine. ie. the game is loading up and that this is the problem. Try updating video card drivers, consulting the games readme, etc. philli Apr 01, 2003, 12:32 PM I just uninstalled the original version and re-installed the copied version. The programe now loads without the cd fine. Guess the patches were fine after all. philli Apr 01, 2003, 12:39 PM No such luck. I just tried installing it on my own pc in my room and its erros installing from the copied cd? any ideas? jebus Apr 01, 2003, 02:43 PM i managed to get it to work fine brought the original n copied perfect heers a step by step jus 4 u lot. step1:copy contents of disk into a folder on ur comp. step2:get the patch from game copyworld not sure which 1 it is there two. step3:unzip this into the folder which you used for step1 step4:burn to disk as a standard data cd then it should work. i done this and it works fine without a cd now. |
