Some interesting GameCube news is popping up where a discovery has been made in creating an .iSO image of a GameCube game onto a Mini DVD-R... and what it seems being able to boot it with the GameCube Freeloader disk!

This is the so-called 'Homemade' Tutorial for what you need:

Tutorial to Create God 'Homemade'

Tools:

MakeGCM.exe (found in makegcm_v1004_9-10-01.zip on the SDK disc of Nintendo)

physdemo.dlf (found in SDSG\demos\Dodger Demo)

A dsf file (contains the executable and certain data files, binary signed with dol)

Edit the dlf file with wordpad and change the file paths to the files you want to put on the GOD. I'd assume you'll also need to update the image offsets (hex numbers at the start of the lines). Leave the first two, last and second to last (??) lines in the dlf file.

Modify the second line of the dlf file with the dsf that you want to place on the GOD (the dsf file contains the executable and certain data files).

Open a DOS prompt, change to the directory with the dlf file and enter the following command:

code:-----------------------------------
makegcm filename.dlf image.iso
------------------------------------------

Where filename.dlf is the name of the modified dlf file. Burn the ISO file to a DVD with PrimoDVD or another program. Use mode Z of freeloader to load the disc, and make sure that you have it set to use the same region that you set for the DOL file.

IMO it would be best to try burning the Dodger Demo without changing anything first, before trying any custom discs. In that case just use this command:

code:-------------------------------------
makegcm physdemo.dlf image.iso
--------------------------------------------

You will need to have set up the directories according to the Dodger readme.txt file.

this kind of info sucks.

everbody is yelling stuff without even confirming if it;s true or st.

are there any scene groups working on hacking the cube? is it confirmed by them?

it looks like nobody want's to crack the cube because everybody is working on the ps2 and xbox.
