Does anyone out there know how to make a working backup of this securom'd 4.xxx game, its really pissing me off!!!

Iv'e tried so far, clonecd latest version, alcohol 120%, cdrwin, cdmate.
also tried the emulation tools daemon tools, playbackup wouldnt work on win2k any other suggestions or ideas greatly appreciated

The backups all INSTALL the game fine but when it comes to playing it just brings up the "looking for securom id cd icon" and then doesnt run....




System Spec is PIII 650mhz, 392mb Ram, Leadtek GF 4, 1x IBM 20.1Gb 1x IBM 60 Gb
Scsi Teac Cd Rom, Tdk 12x10x32 Cyclone Writer, IIyama VM Pro 17"



Os Win2k Sp2, dx 9

Depends if it is a newer 4.xx game or not. It is not possible to create working 1:1 copies of v4.8.xx, etc. securom titles. You have to emulate, use twin sectors or use a crack.

Codemaster have put a fair amount of protection on it. Some release groups had problems also.

I think you need the most up to date alcohol 120% i think i heard & use a crack to run it that i have if you want it get in touch.
