When i want to burn a cd, i got this message :

"Scan SCSI/IDE Bus... Please Wait"

and then, Nero stop responding.....

It use to work and my computer is pretty new, so i don't understand. I tried Nero 5.5.7.0 and 5.5.9.0 and they're both the same.

my burner is a TEAC DW-224E combo drive

Moving to CDR/CDRW...

Try a different burning program i.e. Alcohol 120% avialable at www.alcohol-soft.com. I have never had trouble with this program and since you can get the trial version for free you might as well give it a shot. Simply write to the Harddrive and write back to the cd and you will have a perfect CD-R.
