hey people,
sorry to be asking bout ntsc to pal conversion again, but this is more curiousity this time.
i was wondering if anyone knows why converting the image through a boot disc or mod chip hasn't been done (as far as i know). i mean, i know you can patch a game, but not everyone has a dvd burner to re-burn it again. i remember on my mates psx there were different kinds of mod chips and if u were willing to pay a little more you could get one that played all games in colour regardless of the television. and i believe there was a boot disc that let you choose what type of signal you wanted the game displayed in, import loader i think it was called.
anyway, basically what i am asking is what is so special about the ps2 that this hasn't been done for it? security measures? demand not enough? anything?
any info appreciated.
