I have a backup of Soul Calibur 2. Does anyone know why you get black bars on the side of the game. I have a wide screen tv w/ high def cables. Every other game is fine except SC2. Did they relaese a wide and standard ver.?

It doesn't support widescreen or high definition.

Coz the ps2 Version supports wide sets.. its in the options...while the X-box version does'nt ..also i've found out that the X-BOX version suffers from a little SLOW-DOWN !!! so in my eyes the PS2 version is FAR Superior :)

SC2 does support HD Widescreen. U have to set the video settings on MS Dash. I have screen ratio to widescreen and 480p on and 1080i on. My tv doesn't support 720p. At 480p it shows perfect with not black lines? don't know what your problem could be?

I could swear it supports 720p from all that I have heard. I haven't tried it yet though.
