Hi. Sorry to sound so dumb, but I am having a real problem getting the CD drawer open on my Memorex BBQ200 CD-RW. Press the button on the front, Eject from Nero, Eject from Explorer, none of these do anything. The light flashes on the front of the burner (The disk activity LED), then nothing. Does anybody use this type of burner? Any advice would be most gratefully recieved.

You may have a jammed disc or tray. Use a thin piece of wire like a straightened paper clip, insert the wire into the small hole on the face of the drive, usually it's above and/or to the left of the eject button. Press the wire in until you hear a click, the tray will move out slightly & then you can gently slide it open.

I have exactly the same problem on Win98SE and had to resort to the paper clip trick.
I am not convinced by the jammed disc or tray answer.
If I find any further information I will post it here.
