View Full Version : How do I get to choose lower write speeds in Nero?

I use an LG 16xDVD/32x10x40xCD-RW drive as my CD-writer (labelled HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4320B in the Device Manager of Win98 SE), and I've noticed that Nero will only let me choose 8x as a minimum speed (I have 8x, 16x, 24x and 32x as choosable options). Yet other burning apps like Easy CD Pro 95 and CDRWIN are quite easily able to burn in speeds like 1x, 2x or 4x.

Is there any way I can force Nero to burn in slower speeds when necessary?

Probably because no one likes you... either that or simply no one who has read it knows the answer.

My best guess would be that you have an OEM serial for Nero, in such a case using a full serial should sort it out.
