I have had lots of problems with all the dvd roms I have used. I would like a few opinions as to what you guys use. I mainly use a dvd rom for ripping dvds or for reading cdr. I have had mixed problems on both formats, I have a sony DDu1621 at the mo but it aint great. I read a review about it and it wasnt very popular. So what are you guys useing? Where did you get it from and how much. Im in the U.K.

Try the Samsung SD616 M8 a nice bit of kit IMO got 2 now and very happy with both, Try to get the "T" version as I found it to be slightly faster than the "Q" version I bought both at Ebuyer for approx £30 each.

After reading a lot of posts on various forums I found that the LiteOn LTD165 was a favourite. I bought one after reading that DAE and reading certain copy protection on games was excellent. Others may disagree but i'm happy with the unit.
