I won't to add a bigger hard drive but my xbox can't read cdrw and I don't have a dvd burner. I have evox on it know but I don't have a copy of it on dvd to reload. Is it possible to reload evox to my new hard drive of my computer. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my xbox to read cdrw's

try different brands of media. also, how did you install evo the first time? if nothing else, you could head over to **********, i am sure someone there could set ya up with slayer on dvd-r... or even a multi game disk with evo dash.... ;)

Most xbox's if not all will read cdrw, if your is not then one of two things is possible, one, check to make sure your dvd drive still plays originals if so then your drive is fine, two, try loading different brand name cdrw's, somtimes that helps.....if all else fails then ftp to your computer the info that you need......

Oh and if none of that helps try www.xbox-scene.com, lots of help there....

I got it to read cdrw's, I had to put the cdrw in before evox loaded for it to be readable. Thanks for the great help guys

I thought my Ver.1 Xbox couldn't read CD-RW's.. I used 650MB Memorex discs. I put Slayers Auto Evox on it, and my xbox FINALLY read it the THIRD time I ejected it in and out, just keep trying to eject it in and out a few times but after about 5 times yeah i'd say your outta luck.

Thats the same kind I finally got to work Memorex 650mb. I was trying Verbatim before and was getting nothing.
